From the looks of that ( and I'm not business guru) as I've said before if not for Wilkinson Star He'd be a failed business man

And without John Wilkinson,we'd be a failed Rugby club!

Correction we already are a failed rugby club! Hanging onto a SL franchise by goodwill from the RFL hardly makes us a success!

However I have and always will respect JW. For everyone acknowledges that without him we wouldn't have a club to support at all.

From a fan of a club who has had more than its fair share of bad news, i wish you all well!!!

Firstly this is based on 2010 accounts not 2011.

We all know that trading whilst you know you are insolvent will get you in trouble. Therefore I would advise caution. There are a number of things that aren't obvious for this basic information. Liabilities can be misleading.


having said that we know that the club isn't the richest club by some way.

We have always managed to avoid Insolvency and I'm sure we can struggle though.

Could somebody compare these results to other Super League clubs?

In the main the Current Liabilities relate to monies put in by JAW, HC & IW to sustain the presence of the club.

The Bank Overdraft is again Guaranteed by the three good men.

Would Wardley & Lance like to step in please in their stead?

The comparisons are almost meaningless.
We know that the only reason this club survives is because it is supported from JWs own pocket.
This is not about being an apologist for JW. He doesn't need me to do that for him.
It's a straightforward statement of the way it is.
He can still get things wrong,though,as he did with Parrish but its his toy to play with and we all know his heart is in the right place.
Ignore the financial comparisons.
