Just been speaking to King of The Shed and lay him a little challenge to him... so thought I'd put it on here.

A challenge for when you are bored.

We currently have a squad of 27 players.... Now lets just say you win the lottery... a £48 million EuroMillions Jackpot. Of course... most of us would be looking at investing in the club. Now let's say you have the power to buy your own squad.

So.... to make it interesting... we'll add some realism.

You can't decimate one teams squad (ie... picking 4 players from Wigan isn't going to happen). You also can't raid the NRL unless you see fit to get rid of a quota player and replace with another one.

So.... the idea is.... you can pick one player from each of the remaining SL sides. Meaning.... you are picking 13 players to add to the squad.

With that... you are retaining 14 of our current squad... and you MUST keep find 14 who you would keep.

You also need to think about the balance of the squad.

Forget worrying about the salary cap for this one.... There is always a way around it as Warrington have proven to us.... But you have to keep within the quota rules (and if you really want to go to town... the home grown rules too)

So.... to summarise... Keep 14 of the current squad... Use the next 13 spaces with one player from each SL side... keep within the overseas quota.

Ok, I've tried to keep it vaguely plausible in terms of salary cap for mine. Have gone more for players I like rather than automatically picking the best player. Possibly a bit light in the backs, but fairly balanced I feel. Have assumed Manu, Morrison and Hansen are non-quota due to being here for so long? Made one big-money NRL signing.
