8th position is key to the continued input of the good Dr.....although an away tie in the play-offs may not be enough to quench his thirst for glory. In reality, they will be one of 3 teams fighting for an away play-off date...I suspect the attention of most (and the SKY TV cameras) will be focussed on the bottom 4 teams towards the tail end of the season.

2015 will start without one or more of either Bradford/Wakefield/London in either competition as one or more of them will have gone to the wall overspending to stay up.

There are a few sides that are very hard to predict. Will Salford be genuine play off contenders? How will Wigan cope without Tomkins, and likewise Warrington without Briers?

For my team (Hull FC) I don't have a clue how we will go. I think we have a really exciting squad but we have taken a lot of gambles both on and off the pitch. If they pay off we are capable of doing a Huddersfield, but we are just as likely to be scrapping for a playoff place. Either way I'm looking forward to it.

If Salford get 7th or 8th it will be a damn site better than our recent showings. And if you think Koukash will walk away at that stage then you are not as smart as you normally are when talking about RL.
