Sick of getting fleeced for parking at O/T,,,any of you boys know of anywhere free or cheap

Yeah this is a problem for me aswel, think we paid £10 other year.

We park at the back of O/T on the industrial estate follow signs for the footy car parks behind O/T and keep going you soon come to plenty of free space and you are just down the road from Sam Platts aswell.

I'm just getting my brand new car delivered this week, so on this occassion am prepaired to pay the £10 for hopefully additional security.

Sorry to say most of the car park workers tend to p1ss off by kick off time, so i wouldnt take a chance on extra security

Anyone used the option of parking up and getting the tram?

Parked on street in Sale a few years ago and it worked pretty well. Might do it again - I'm coming up the M6 from the south so Sale might be decent option.

Park at Spire Manchester hospital and get a taxi

Isn't there a big P&R car park at Ladywell? Any good?

Ladywell is where we park for Salford games BR and never had any problems.

We always park at the Lowry Shopping Centre - a 10 minute walk away. I think it is free for four hours so long as you buy something and get your ticket validated. Beyond that time it is about a fiver (may be six).

Could have the added bonus of getting something for her indoors as a thanks for looking after the kids all day



What's the traffic like getting away after the game?
