Can anyone recommend any bars and pubs for our day out in Manchester? Thanks.

Sinclair's Oyster Bar in Exchange Square is usually our pre-match port of call.

Assuming the weather's OK of course.

Not telling, our usual bar was far too busy last year and ended up closing for 10 minutes when they ran out of pint glasses

The usual places on match day are horrible. I go up into the back end of beyond in the Northern Quarter

we usually go early and go to the trafford arms at the top of busby way, the atmosphere before kick off is fantastic!!!

Anyone know anywhere decent to go late on Friday night?

if you're in the city centre you can really go wrong with the print works then when you get nearer the stadium theres loads of bar/restaurant type places on the salford quays (easy walking distance from the stadium)

Do what we normally do, gather on the streets outside the Trafford Pub with a shed load of cans! Cheaper, can have a good laugh and there's normally a cracking atmosphere!

The ale in there is cr4p, although it is a totty trap

That's cool as long as you are no older than 16.

I'm 22, why bother queueing for 20 minutes to pay £3.50 a pint when you can take a crate on the corner and drink as much as you like without having to bother?
