Hey!
I am starting a job in Leeds in the next couple of months and so am looking to rent within a few miles of the city centre. I'm currently looking in Armley - any good or bad points about this area, or can anyone recommend other areas I could be looking? I'll be renting a 2 bed flat.

As long as you're not set on the idea of living in Leeds you could consider Shipley. It's about 12-13 miles from Leeds but train links are excellent (trains take about 15 mins and there are 3 or 4 an hour). I live in a place called Victoria Mills and there are plenty of apartments to choose from. Worth a look if you struggle to find anything in and around Leeds. |

The Mrs used to share a house in armley before we shacked up - we never had any problems with the area.
Handy for town / headingley.

You should have said GCM, I could have waved at you from work when I was still at the Revenue. 
Not a bad shout though, although that line up to Skipton was never the most reliable in adverse weather. |
