I know it is not about the result and more the game time but it was nice to see a team of mostly young lads beat Keighley who were the other way round having more first teamers in I believe.
A great second try and some promising players in Joe Martin and Brandon Moore who played better than some of the so called first teamers!
Good turnout of Fax fans for a mostly reserve team friendly made up half of the crowd easily.

Just returned from Cougar Park,a good following as usual from Fax fans and a decent result,I don't think you can read to much into friendly games but I for one was happy with the result and I always enjoy a visit to Cougar Park.

Good to see both teams field youngsters. Would have been good to see both teams have a full 17 just to see how far cougars are off. Good luck for the season hope you beat the dulls

Good run out for RM's youngsters and looks like Keighley had a few in their team too. Hooker and fullback looked the part for Fax. Defence was very good. crowd 457.

A fair few of my customers think we are progressing nicely and have said they intend making a trip to the Shay this coming season,the future is bright the future is Fax,if we all spread the Fax Gospel and even brought along a friend it would increase crowds considerably, I think an average of 3000 is very achievable this season,let's put our faith in Rich.
